Dear 100 Black Men of Greater Charlotte,

Thank you all so much for the support that you have given me through the years. I appreciate the knowledge and confidence you have given to me. You’ve made me feel so proud of my blackness in the face of a society that wants me to be ashamed of it. You’ve invested so much time and money into me, from the practices for Dollars and Sense and the African American History Challenge to sending me to the National Flight Academy to the Scholarship I received for college. These actions have shown me that you all see me as the future of our community and I can't express how much that motivates me as I take my next step. I thoroughly enjoyed my time in MOY and I can’t wait until I’m able to follow in the footsteps of all of you great men and affect the lives of the next generation of youth.

Sincerely,

Nicholas Bernard Martin
