Aaron Means
Vice President of Program

Member Spotlight
A 30-year IBM staffer and manager, Aaron Means, Vice President of Programs, is a man of great humility who has done much for our organization and the City of Charlotte . Means was recently recognized in the December 31, 2005 edition of the Charlotte Observer for launching a computer literacy program utilizing available computers in an empty room at IBM in University Research Park . He and others at IBM used their lunch hours to teach students at four area schools, enabling them to pass the State-required computer competency test. Means is active in several civic organizations aside from the 100 Black Men of Greater Charlotte, including Junior Achievement and the Police Athletic League.
He says he helps, “because it's the right thing to do.”
